We are a small independent software company in Newquay, Cornwall. We build carefully-made applications for mobile and web — the kind you can rely on when you are cold, wet and a long way from a plug socket.
Savvy Apps Ltd designs and builds its own software products. We are not an agency and we do not take client work. Everything we release is something we use ourselves.
Our work concentrates on outdoor and coastal activity, where conditions change hour to hour and generic advice is worse than none. We are interested in software that is honest about what it knows, tells you plainly when it does not know, and gets better the more it is used.
Sea and shore angling advice for the UK coast
Sprat tells an angler what to fish for, how to fish it, and why — based on the mark they are standing on, the state of the tide and the sea in front of them. It covers more than eight thousand marks around the coast of Great Britain, reads live tidal and marine conditions, and carries a written body of angling knowledge reviewed line by line before it is ever shown to anyone.
